A little history

The rich and fertile soils of the Liverpool Plains are well known for producing top quality grains, cotton and beef, but not so well known are the unique award-winning bricks made from local clays. The family owned, Namoi Valley Bricks at Gunnedah produce a huge range of bricks and pavers with a unique blend of colours ranging from a rich red to a pearly cream.

Operating since 1959, Namoi Valley Bricks boast over 40 years of experience in the brick making industry. You could say that bricks run in the blood of Broekmans. The original owners Tony Broekman, with his family built the brickworks up from a rundown existence to an award winning, very successful business.

All face bricks are hand sorted to maintain the highest standard and to ensure minimum wastage.

Michael Broekman, General Manager of Namoi Valley Bricks, is the fifth generation of Broekmans to obtain brick making experience. Employing 28 people, the brick making process is exactly the same as the one used by his forebears, using a unique coal fired down draft kilns. "The passion to make quality bricks is as strong today as when my great, great grandfather first started making bricks back in Holland. Brick making is in our blood and this experience ensures our customers have confidence in our products".

Namoi Valley Bricks is situated in Gunnedah, North West New South Wales, with an office and yard in Minchinbury, Sydney. Namoi Valley Bricks also support 20 agencies throughout NSW and Victoria, including numerous resellers in Sydney.

Namoi Valley Bricks in Gunnedah are also a reseller of concrete products including paving and retaining wall blocks and grey, coloured and textured building blocks produced by various suppliers including C & M, Master Masonry and NewTech Pavers. More recently Namoi Valley Bricks Gunnedah have included Boral Bricks huge range of products in their sales line making Namoi Valley Bricks a one stop shop for your building needs.

Namoi Valley Bricks provide a delivery service to our customers and agents. This is done with our truck and trailer combination which also carries a Moffat forklift on-board. This ensures that your product is able to be placed around your building site as required and makes for a smoother building process.

Our delivery service has a capacity to deliver up to 8,000 units per load and distance is not a problem.
