• Make sure there is adequate drainage in the paving job - both surface and sub-surface (under the pavers).
• NEVER use "crusher dust" or similar type materials underneath the pavers. Crusher dust is one of the greatest causes of staining problems in pavers.
• The better the base preparation, the better the paving job.

The points mentioned above, account for nearly all paving problems. If a problem is discovered after the pavers have been laid, it can be very expensive and time consuming to have the problem solved. It is much easier to allow for these potential problems before they occur, than try and solve the problem once it arises.
